Ever wondered what makes us human beings? Ever thought of that one quality or characteristic that makes us different from other species? It is our humanity. Humanity is not just a noun; it is one of the basic qualities that separate humans from other species. Humanity is what makes us human.
Having a heart means that we have something more than what other species may have. Human beings are different as humans have to feel compassion for fellow being. Compassion, kindness and having that indescribable thing called humanity which basically is an amalgamation of the qualities like goodness of heart for others, makes human kind what it is.
There are people in our society that do not have all those resources that are there in nature and the world to be availed by everyone. Out of these underprivileged people, there are some who are children. Dulux, therefore, has initiated a campaign called Own a colour to help these little children who do not have access to basic amenities like food, shelter, clothes etc. Education is also a liberty for these children. Therefore, Dulux Own a colour is an initiative taken to help bring some smiles on these children’s faces who are as deserving as anyone else but are not as lucky as the privileged.
Own a Colour requires people to own a colour available for one dollar only. The money raised from those purchases would go to Unicef who would further utilize it for the good of these children.
