Decorating a teenager’s
room can be an ordeal and can be some real fun too! A teenager’s
room has to be funky as well as functional. There has to be style as
well proper comfortable place to sleep, study, or hang out in leisure
time.
Give your teenager an
opportunity to express his/her personality and style through the room
decor. The playful colours, the creative art work, the unique
accessories etc. are definitely important to add an element of one’s

have to keep your teenager’s choice and colour preference while

Work towards a comfortable
area because if your teenager is not happy with the room, he/she may
not like spending too much time there! Opt for a good comfortable bed
or mattress with ample space and lots of cushions. Along with
sleeping area, pay attention to installing a shelving unit for your
teenager’s collection of books, DVDs, computer, music system,
pictures and other stuff. Arrange for a stylish study table so that
your child enjoys studying and using the table. Make a special space
for bulletin board for a collage of pictures, cards and things to
make the place look exciting and young. Beanbag chairs, cane chairs
etc. are important accessories for the room. Under-bed storage and
closet storage has to be paid attention to so as to maximize space in
the room.
The room shouldn’t be
cramped at all. There should be space for your teenager to dance when
he/she decides to have a party with friends. Also, anyway, space in
the room would immensely help when it comes to giving your teenager a
feeling of calmness and peace. Be sure that there is adequate light-
natural and otherwise and ventilation in the room to ensure health of
your child too!
